A small branch was growing out of the red cedar blank for this bowl which provides a distinctive visual focal point in the bottom of the bowl.The void created by the growth of the branch is filled with burgundy colored epoxy which carries through to the out wall of the bowl.The color variations found in red cedar is evident on the bowls exterior where a blond patch is prominent.
