A “round bowl” with two straight sides is just part of the charm of this bowl.Turned from shag bark hickory the bowl highlights the different shades of hickory.Almost dead center in the bowl is a small clover shaped bark inclusion that expands outward as it moves to the bottom of the bowl.Further character is developed by the large patch of bark which covers the exterior of one of the straight sides.
